About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be a data-driven individual with a passion for uncovering insights, improving processes, and telling stories through data. This role is responsible for transforming complex data into actionable intelligence that will guide our business strategy and drive operational excellence. You will work cross-functionally to understand business needs, develop insightful analyses, and create compelling data visualizations.

*This position requires full-time, onsite attendance Monday through Friday in the Baltimore metropolitan area.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years relevant experience, or Master's degree and 6+ years relevant experience, or  3+ years with PhD. The degree should be in one of the following fields: Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
• Expertise in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Experience with data visualization best practices and creating compelling data stories.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AI and machine learning concepts and tools.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R.
• One or more of the following certifications: CompTIA SecurityX, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), CompTIA Cloud+, Cyber Secure Coder (CSC), GIAC Cloud Security Essentials (GCLD), GIAC Cloud Security Automation (GCSA), GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC).

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• A strong understanding of business processes and the ability to connect data insights to business objectives.

Details

Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
