Job Summary
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $38.23 - $61.48 (Hourly Rate).

Required Qualifications - HS graduate and sufficient experience and demonstrated skills to successfully perform the assigned duties and responsibilities.
- Proficiency with PC computer programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe and conference scheduling and hosting software, such as Zoom.
- Proficiency with accurate medical data entry.
- Familiarity with data extraction and analysis in Excel.
- Familiarity with medical technical language and research study protocols.
- Knowledge of research types, such as, clinical trials, protocols, and complex visit structures.
- Ability to analyze complex and non-routine issues requiring innovative solutions.
- Ability to interpret and apply policies and regulations.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive personal and patient clinical information.
- Ability to interact professionally with patients and their families, colleagues, and investigators at all levels at UCSF and academic sites throughout the U.S. and Canada.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications - Proficient in use of electronic medical records and databases - preferably EPIC.
- Experience using database software, such as REDCap.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, particularly immunology, including lymphocyte subsets and functional studies.
- Experience with human subject research approvals.
