Salary: $71,000 - 111,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Programming or equivalent technical training from an accredited institution, completion of a recognized certification program, or equivalent experience
• A minimum of nine years of relevant experience
• Proven proficiency in required programming languages and a solid understanding of computer systems including networks, servers, and personal computers
• Strong planning and organizational abilities with the capacity to work under deadlines
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for interaction with colleagues and receiving direction from senior Programmers or Supervisors
• Capability to qualify for and sustain a government security clearance
• A valid, state-issued drivers license

• Transform and manage data based on project specifications and problem statements to create or adjust computer programs
• Prepare flowcharts and diagrams to illustrate program sequences and logical operations
• Convert project specifications into detailed coding instructions that computers can interpret, utilizing programming techniques and languages
• Design and develop basic to moderately complex computer programs
• Employ software tools for flowchart creation and code generation throughout system development phases
• Operate computer systems to validate, troubleshoot, and test programs
• Monitor program performance post-implementation
• Analyze, review, and modify existing programs to enhance efficiency or meet new requirements
• Create documentation detailing program development, logic, and coding adjustments
• Develop user manuals outlining installation and operational procedures
• Provide technical support to program users as needed
• Offer guidance to junior department employees and occasionally lead workgroups
• Perform additional related tasks as required
