School Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking for a School Registered Nurse (RN) for a client in New Windsor! Immediate consideration!
As the school’s Registered Nurse (RN), you will supervise the medical and record-keeping needs of all students ages preschool to 12th grade.
What you'll do as the School Registered Nurse (RN):
»Working in a clinical office environment, superviseing students, including:
»Sick visits
»Administering medications and immunizations
»Charting orders
»Dealing with emergencies like injuries
»Maintain, evaluate, interpret health data of all current students to include immunizations, annual physical examination and potential care plan
»Verify required immunization requirements are met for each student in compliance with NYS guidelines
»Provide faculty and staff with epi-pen, allergy training to ensure needs are met for students with significant health care concerns
»Ensure nursing supplies, emergency kits, AEDs and other medical resources are adequately stocked/working
»Ensures parent/employee compliance with the COVID-19 tracking protocols
»Complete and submit all NYS mandated reporting as required.
»Perform other tasks as assigned.
What is required of the School Registered Nurse (RN):
»Current NYS Registered Nurse License
»NYS Driver’s License
»CPR Certification
»EMR practice is required
»Pediatrics practice a plus
»Previous school nurse practice preferred
Schedule:
»Monday-Friday, 8am-3pm
