Job Description

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a biotech company in the Durham area who is hiring a Laboratory Technician to join their team. This is a contract opportunity lasting through the end of 2026, working Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and prepare tubing sets and materials for scaffold production
• Wrap and stage materials for autoclaving and sterilization
• Set up lab stations prior to scaffold launches
• Perform post‑run take down activities, including disassembly and material handling
• Remove and weld off components as required
• Take photos and record basic notes for documentation
• Prepare routine lab solutions as scheduled
• Maintain strict aseptic technique and lab cleanliness standards
• Support increased scaffold production from one to two days per week

Requirements:

• Experience working in a laboratory or clean/controlled environment
• Strong understanding of and attention to aseptic technique
• Ability to perform repetitive, hands‑on tasks consistently
• Comfort following established procedures and instructions
• Basic documentation skills (notes, photos)
• Education requirement: AS or BS Degree Preferred. HS Degree with experience will be considered.
