Licensed Waste Water Treatment Operator
The Licensed Wastewater Treatment Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining wastewater treatment facilities to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permit requirements. This role involves performing routine inspections, laboratory testing, equipment maintenance, and process adjustments to ensure safe and efficient plant operations

Licensed Waste Water Treatment Operator Details:
Operate and monitor wastewater treatment systems, including pumps, motors, valves, and control panels
Perform routine sampling and laboratory analysis of wastewater and sludge
Record operational data such as flow rates, chemical usage, and test results
Adjust treatment processes based on test results and regulatory standards
Conduct regular inspections of plant equipment and facilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment
Respond to alarms, system malfunctions, and emergency situations
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations
Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation
Assist with sludge handling, disposal, and chemical inventory management
Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
Licensed Waste Water Treatment Operator Qualifications:
Valid Wastewater Treatment Operator License (Grade I, II, III, or higher as required by the facility)
High school diploma or GED (associate degree in environmental science or related field preferred)
Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and equipment
Ability to perform basic laboratory tests and interpret results
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting
Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and on-call as needed
