General Laborer

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $16 - $18 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a General Laborer:

• Inspect and determine the level of repair a pallet needs, following established repair criteria

• Repair/build pallets using provided tools, wood components, and proper processes and procedures

• Dismantle pallets using various machines and tools

• Practice safe operation of all machines and tools

• Sort pallets accurately based on appropriate quality and grade, as determined through inspection and repair process

• Perform sanitation, cleaning, and good housekeeping practices

• Work in a production-based position; must be able to effectively meet minimum production and quality requirements

• Perform any other duties as assigned by leadership

Available shifts:

Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs consistently throughout the duration of the shift

• Ability to effectively perform a job requiring consistent, repetitive motion, bending, twisting, reaching, and lifting in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to work with exposure to loud noise, hot and cold temperatures

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

• Comparable work-related experience preferred

• Experience in a fast-paced, production-based warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred

• Ability to effectively work within a diverse team environment
