This role is for a Radiation Therapist responsible for delivering radiation therapy treatments to patients. The therapist will operate radiation equipment, monitor patients during treatment, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure accurate and safe delivery of prescribed radiation doses.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the radiation oncologist.
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment.
- Monitor patients during treatment and report any adverse reactions.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure accurate documentation of treatment parameters.
- Assist in the preparation of treatment plans.
- Participate in quality assurance activities.
- Perform patient positioning and immobilization techniques.
- Provide patient education and support.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy.
- BLS Certification.
- Minimum 1 year of experience.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience in an acute care hospital setting.
Special Considerations:
- Must be willing to float between units as needed.
- Accommodation of block schedules is per manager discretion.
- Facility is able to call off once per two week pay period.
Scheduling:
- Day shift, 8 hours.
- 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
