During a biometric wellness screening, a trained Quest Diagnostics Health & Wellness provider will collect measurements such as height, weight, blood pressure, waist and/or hip circumference, as well as a finger stick for glucose and cholesterol levels. Duties And Responsibilities Perform biometric screening at client sites including finger stick blood collection, BMI, blood pressure, height/weight, and other health screening services based on service package Provide basic health coaching based on individual's screening results Perform basic waived testing procedures on blood samples and complete required quality control Provide exceptional customer service at all health screenings Maintain accurate, complete, and legible records Participate in training/retraining and continuing education programs as necessary Comply with all safety policies and procedures, including the use of protective equipment to prevent exposure to infectious agents Understand and comply with federal, state, and local laws, and adhere to quality assurance and good manufacturing practices Maintain HIPAA and OSHA standards during events Perform other related duties as necessary Job Qualifications Required Work Experience: At least 1 year of healthcare experience in a professional setting Completion of a fingerstick within the last 1-2 years Proficiency in finger stick blood collection and manual blood pressure Preferred Work Experience: Previous medical or clinical laboratory background Experience with CardioChek Plus Physical and Mental Requirements: Work in a corporate/conference room setting Travel to screening locations (not provided) Lift objects up to 40 pounds Fine dexterity and steadiness Attention to details Access to computer and internet Knowledge: N/A Skills: Proper specimen and reagent handling, labeling, processing, transportation, and storage skills Work Environment: Travel up to 25% Education: Some college courses; formal medical education and certification as required by state Licenses or Certificates: Meet state licensure requirements if applicable Additional Details: Entry level, full-time, in the healthcare industry, with travel requirements.
