1033 Omakase is looking for a skilled and passionate Sushi Chef to join our team. We are an omakase-focused concept dedicated to quality, precision, and an exceptional guest experience.
Position: Sushi ChefResponsibilities:
Prepare and execute sushi and sashimi at a high level, with attention to detail and consistency
Handle premium fish and ingredients with proper technique and care
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi bar and prep areas
Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-standard kitchen environment
Collaborate respectfully with chefs, servers, and management
Requirements:
Previous sushi chef experience required (omakase experience preferred)
Strong knife skills and knowledge of fish breakdown
Professional attitude, punctuality, and teamwork mindset
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Passion for Japanese cuisine and hospitality
