Vehicle Upgrade Coordinator Responsibilities

• Works directly with customers who bring their vehicles in for service to identify opportunities to talk about upgrading to a newer model
• Builds rapport and explains the benefits of upgrading (e.g., newer features, better financing, trade-in equity)
• Presents tailored offers based on customer needs and dealership programs
• Acts as a liaison between the service and sales teams to capture upgrade leads from service customers and hand them off to sales consultants
• Coordinates appointments, follow-ups, and communicates opportunities to the rest of the sales staff
• Uses the dealership’s CRM and data systems to track leads, schedule follow-ups, and manage customer information
• Stays up to date on vehicle inventory, manufacturer incentives, and current sales specials

Vehicle Upgrade Coordinator Qualifications

• Previous experience in automotive sales, customer service, and/or in a dealership upgrade role
• Strong understanding of automotive sales and service operations
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate between departments
• Comfort with CRM software and dealership management systems
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Professional, well-groomed personal appearance
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
