The team is hiring a Junior Network Engineer to support the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of network environments. This role will provide hands-on exposure to enterprise networking, security, and cloud technologies, while working alongside experienced engineers to develop technical expertise in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Tier 1–2 technical support for client network issues, escalating when appropriate
  • Assist senior engineers with network design, configuration, and deployment projects
  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot client network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, etc.)
  • Document configurations, procedures, and best practices
  • Support onboarding of new client environments as the MSP continues expansion
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of monitoring, ticketing, and support processes

Requirements:

  • 1–2 years of experience in a technical support or helpdesk role within an MSP environment
  • Exposure to network administration or troubleshooting (e.g., LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs)
  • Familiarity with firewalls, switches, routers, or wireless access points (Cisco, Fortinet, Aruba, or similar)
  • Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
  • Eagerness to learn and grow into network engineering responsibilities
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNA, Fortinet NSE, or equivalent)
  • Experience with RMM tools and ticketing systems
  • Exposure to Microsoft 365 and Windows Server environments
  • Scripting/automation interest (e.g., PowerShell)

Salary:

  • $55,000 - $65,000
