Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Knit Technician to join our production team t assist with our machines operations and especially style changes. Flat Knit technicians will receive comprehensive hands-on training to transition into our circular knitting environment, while those already experienced in circular knitting will be recognized with additional compensation.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain circular and flat knitting machines including single jersey, double jersey, interlock, rib, jacquard, terry, and flat bed equipment
Inspect, test, repair, and reassemble machinery per maintenance schedules, replacing worn components and making precision adjustments
Diagnose and resolve machine problems efficiently to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
Monitor production quality, verify fabrics for shipment, and escalate issues as needed
Analyze new products for manufacturing feasibility, interpreting specification sheets and knit pattern diagrams
Maintain proper inventory levels of parts and materials
Collaborate with knitters, fabric inspectors, and shift support to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years' experience in a circular or flat knit manufacturing environment
Hands-on experience with knitting machinery such as Mayer & Cie, Lonati, Santoni, Fukuhara, Terrot, Monarch, Orizio, Stoll, Shima Seiki, or similar circular or flat knit machinery
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
Familiarity with design/production software a plus (M-CAM, Stoll M1plus, SDS-ONE APEX, Pointcarré, AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, and others)
Ability to read blueprints, spec sheets, and manufacturers' manuals
Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
High School Diploma or GED required

Compensation Dependent on Experience - additional pay for circular knitting experience
