Job Description

Overview: A radiology aide supports the imaging team by preparing patients, transporting them to and from exam rooms, and maintaining clean, organized equipment and workspaces. Their objective is to ensure efficient workflow and a safe, comfortable environment so technologists can focus on performing high-quality diagnostic imaging. Responsibilities: Assists the technologist inputting patient notes in EPIC, RIS and PACS. Responsible for cleaning all equipment in the department. Assists the patient to and from the x-ray table form the floor, cart, or wheelchair. Assists with patients during procedures. Makes sure equipment is properly cleaned and stored after each exam Maintains patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance. Performs all other duties as assigned. Demonstrate the ability to operate applicable office equipment. Stocks supplies, linen and other items as needed within the department Sets up equipment and room as needed for exam Assist in maintaining an on-time patient schedule. Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is $18.97per hour - $30.73per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
