Many successful inspectors come from backgrounds such as construction, maintenance, trades, property management, military, or emergency services, but we will train the right candidate. Pay: Based on experience and qualifications. What You'll Do * Inspect residential homes and evaluate major systems including roofing, structure, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC * Use inspection software to create clear reports for homebuyers, sellers and realtors * Explain findings to clients and real estate professionals in a professional, easy-to-understand way * Represent Pillar To Post with excellent customer service The Ideal Candidate * Mechanically inclined and detail oriented * Comfortable communicating with homeowners and real estate professionals * Self-motivated and able to work independently * Professional, dependable, and organized * Comfortable using computers and technology Job Requirements * Valid driver’s license * Ability to climb ladders, walk roofs, and access attics and crawl spaces * Ability to work in varying weather conditions * Ability to pass background and driving checks * Some evening or weekend availability
